Rainbow sugar strands are made of sugar which is coloured by using artificial or natural
colourings. They are perfect for decorating all confectionery products: cakes, yoghurt, icecreams, biscuits and typical Italian sweets such as Easter cakes and panettone.
These sugar strands are an industrial product obtained by turning the shape of sugar from spherical to elongated. They are also called “vermicelli”. The strands cover the
surfaces of sweets and cakes for decorative purposes, often together with frostings or
creams.
