The leaves of marjoram are oval-shaped and dark green. Compared to oregano, marjoram’s aroma is more delicate and sophisticated, and is suitable for savoury and rich dishes such as cheese, nuts and mushrooms. It can also be added to pasta dressings and
vegetable creams.
Marjoram is an aromatic Mediterranean plant of the Lamiaceae family. Despite its close resemblance to oregano, marjoram is used with a totally different combination of tastes,
and is most commonly used in France.
