Rosemary leaves are needle-shaped, dark green on the top and white at the bottom. Characterised by an intense aroma, rosemary is used to flavour meat dishes, baked vegetables, sauces and fillings. It is also excellent with focaccia and homemade bread.
Rosemary is a perennial and evergreen Mediterranean shrub which belongs to the Lamiaceae family, native to Europe and North Africa. It has acclimatised even in very cold areas.
