Coarse black Hawaiian salt






Characterised by its intense pitch-black colour -due to the presence of charcoal- the coarse black Hawaiian salt has a bitter, dry taste with a smoky note. This makes it suitable for grilled meat or fish recipes such as salmon and caviar.
This coarse black salt is also known as “Black Lava Salt” because of its volcanic origin, namely the Hawaiian island of Molokai. Its absorbent and detoxifying properties are due to the presence of charcoal.
