The mixture for couscous is a special Italdroghe recipe that mixes garlic powder with five ground spices: anise, coriander, cumin, turmeric, tellicherry black pepper and chilli.
Being a typical dish of Sicily and western Sardinia, as well as North Africa, couscous is
a dish which consists of steamed grains of wheat semolina. It is generally served with boiled vegetables in quite a spicy broth, accompanied by meat, but it can also be served alone at the end of a meal.
